Fall Shoes

I recently discovered a great brand of shoes - Gomax. What I like about them is their affordability, comfort, and style - not in any particular order. Usually when you try on affordable shoes they tend to be really uncomfortable. I am always on the hunt for cute shoes and at a price that wont break the bank.

I recently purchased the cognac color of the grapevine shoe and have to say - I am in love. Super comfy and cute.

I think they were around $60.00 (tops) & they are faux suede.

Here are some other cute pairs....these are the Ashland - love animal prints.

The Dutch 1 Collection....

Where can you find them?

I couldn't find a link on the website listing the stores, however they do have regional sales reps and a show room in LA and NYC and perhaps they can steer you in the right path. I found mine at a little boutique in Northern California. xo

Update your watering can

Tired of your drab watering can? I found this on Pinterest - what a great idea. Simply paint a tin watering can white and add a vintage black stencil. You can also spray a few gourds white to create a vintage monochromatic fall look for your front porch.

A perfect fall day

What a better way to spend a fall day than at the pumpkin patch? A short drive out to the country and we were surrounded by fields of pumpkins and fruit stands. It's a relaxing way to spend an afternoon and get in the spirit of the seasons changing.

Even though it was cold and wet that day it was still a great time! Every time I go to the pumpkin patch it reminds me of when I was a kid. I just love the different colors of the pumpkins, shapes and sizes, each one is unique and beautiful in their own way. Personally the more organically shaped the better...

The best part was the fruit stand, you can find the best produce, usually locally grown, here they sold local honey, which is always a treat. I'm ready to go back. xo

Lace Candles

Add a little glam and goth to a simple votive for some extra spooky detail this halloween. You can find black lace at any local fabric store, Joanne Fabric's has a fantastic selection and wrap it around a glass enclosed votive. You can spice up the candles and get orange, purple, black and white votives. Make sure the candle sits lower in the glass enclosure to avoid any hazards or even so, pick up a few battery operated votives for the same affect.
