5 Carbs That You Shouldn't Eat by Loren Ridinger

I love Loren's World it's an amazing blog for women. I was doing some reading and came across this article - which is a helpful reminder of what kind of carb's to stay away from. I know in the morning, perhaps Monday's, lots of office's kick off the work week with bagels or donuts. So tempting, and you're hungry, and it's Monday, you probably flew out of the house without breakfast, and you know they are bad for you....but you don't have to cave.....just make sure to have a cup of greek yogurt, a little stevia, and a cup of fresh berries with your yogurt & you can even crush about 7 almonds for some crunch and a little extra protein so you're not tempted to carb out. I think you'll find Loren Ridinger's article to be a helpful and healthful reminder! xo

Good carbs, bad carb, don't eat carbs. You know the experts change the rules it seems like it's every six months. For the first half of the year, we could be told that fruit is the good carb to incorporate into the diet. By the end of June, we may be told to leave fruit to the side because of the natural sugars that fruit produces. It all can become very confusing and just outright annoying.

Here is a list of foods that have remained consistent on the bad carbs list. A little cheat sheet to help keep you on the right track.

1. Potato Chips. If you are craving chips make sure they are popped, baked or vegetable chips
2. Sugary desserts such as pastries ( doughnuts, cookies cakes, pies and candy)
3. Carbonated beverages. Instead substitute for water and natural juices low in sugar
4. Sugar, honey, jam and jelly
5. White bread
