Lately I've noticed ikat everywhere and I really started to admire the simplicity yet detail in color. After doing a web search to find out more about ikat, I stumbled upon Madeline Weinrib Atelier and fell in love. She is a painter and designer and is the granddaughter of ABC Carpet & Home founder Max Weinrib and has carried on her family's business. Her innovative and vibrant artisanally-crafted textiles immediately caught my eye. These pillows are available, in 18x18, 18x30, 24x24, & 9x28 bolster. The great thing about ikat is that you can mix and match the patterns to create a dramatic look. You can choose one pillow as the bold anchor and add around it with smaller subtler patterns and remember to go with odd numbers.
Hopefully you have fallen in love with ikat as much as I have. Now you can do a mini-makeover in your living room or bedroom! xo
