This is such an amazing idea (I cannot take credit for this or pretend to): Pick up scrapbook paper, and trace any shape you desire, neatly cut it out and nicely mount it on matte board, frame it, and presto you have an affordable and chic piece of art for your wall. This particular pic is for a kid's room, but it's for all ages! You could even do a series, pick up 3 papers that are similar and cut out 3 similar shapes, there are so many great options you can come up with.
