With all the great interiors I've been coming across in the last few weeks, I decided to heed some of my own advice and give our living room a mini make over. It's nothing grand, as we live in an apartment - no painting of walls here. On our afternoon outing we stopped by our
local lighting store and picked up some black lampshades & on an impulse...ikat pillows by
Villa Home Collection. This all came to under $150.00, we also picked up some fresh cut roses by the coast to fill up our vases with. xo
Before, nice but I was tired of it, not really a whole lot of pizazz. (Zoe seems a little bored)
After. We rotated the bookshelf, added black lampshades, some pretty flowers, and those awesome ikat pillows paired with turquoise throws we had. I think it brightens our place up and gives it a little much needed pop.
